Hmm you know I have notes about posts I've been wanting to make since December. That's pretty bad. So I suppose I will make them now... But first, what have I been doing? As you can probably guess, that would be school. Yes, I have been going to school and not much else. I do, apparently, have free time, but when I do for one reason or another I've been too lazy to make LJ posts and to catch up on reading my friends page. There are two solutions to this dilemma, one, I make incredibly random posts about things like "the sky is blue" or two (and the far easier and therefore more desirable option to my laziest self) I just don't post.

And there you are, the psychology of my silence. Or something. Anyway, perhaps I will try to make more of an effort to post, although there quarter is ending soon which means I will have a lot of papers to write and tests to study for etc etc etc. But for now, I shall clear away the notes that have been begging me to mention them for the past few months:

December Note -

We make up the names of kids that people buy presents for in the Christmas Giving Tree thing I volunteer with... So I labeled one tag "Fredo" in way that made it look incredibly like "Frodo" (I have to admire my horrible hand writing). Anyway, when the tag came back, what was it attached to? A “Play-doh Island Volcano” toy. Yes, a volcano that spouts play-doh lava. Someone gave Frodo Mt. Doom for Christmas.

January Note -

I was watching Star Trek with my father... and in one scene Worf was pushing his way into a cave. A passage had been blocked by rocks, so he was moving them to get through. So, my father said, "He's just kicking those rocks around like they're nothing.” To which I replied in a rather smart-ass way, "That's because they're made of papier-mâché."

Later January or Early February (I don't even know) Note -

I went to the mall today, and passing by a store selling movies and such I saw a cardboard cut out of Aragorn. However, right below it was one of Yoda holding up a light saber. The way they aligned made Yoda's light saber cover Aragorn's sword. So it appeared that, at first glance, Aragorn was wielding a light saber. That's right, I saw Jedi Aragorn, much to my amusement and confusion.

And there you are, caught up on things to some degree. Anything else I might have posted about I have evidently forgotten, but I do hope you are all doing well, and I hope I don't disappear again.

Play-doh Mount Doom and Jedigorn are substantial LJfodder, methinks.

hehe indeed... If ever I get so bored I think it would be nice to make a claymation Lord of the Rings involving playdoh mt. doom

of course this means Sauron will end up looking rather like a donut hole.

mmmmmm sauron?
